The Look: Large dense buds resembling tight little green pine cones speckled with streaks of orange pollen and tiny dark green leaves. These flowers are evenly dusted with a glistening layer of trichomes rendering a soft “morning dew” look.

The Smell: An overwhelming burst of turpentine followed by a lingering lime zest and black cherry, it is a bright and fresh smell that immediately starts the taste buds watering.  This is definitely an air freshener scent that I would want!

The Taste: Crisp citrus-pine flavor settles down with the sweet undertones of black cherry. Jungle Nugs leaves the effervescent, bubbly taste and body of a hard cider on your pallet. Goes great with some fresh cut fruit!

The Feels: My favorite part of Jungle Nugs is not its fantastic aroma, nor its refreshing flavors. These are simply icing on the cake, and the cake is the best part! This power flower immediately brought a welcomed warmth to my upper torso stopping just south of my head before gently sliding down, wrapping my body in a warm fuzzy blanket.

The quilt-laden feel was coupled with a peaceful, mellow state of mind and a sense of calm that really helped my aching muscles to relax. This is a fantastic strain for those with chronic pain and muscle tension! The effects lasted quite a while before slowly fading into the sunset.

Overall: Jungle Nugs is probably one of the best feeling strains that I have run into in quite a while. The relaxing and body numbing qualities makes it highly effective for pain relief. The calming effect on both the mind and body were quite pronounced and should bring relief to those with stress related issues. Not the best strain for a migraine, but pretty much everything else is covered.

While Jungle Nugs may not be a very productive strain, it doesn’t leave you with that heavy couch-locked feeling. I was still able to function normally and stay on task, just kinda had to talk myself into it a bit more. Pleasant bedtime strain after a long day; the mental and physical relaxing properties make this is a decent insomnia slayer.

If you are looking for a relaxing, pain obliterating strain, Jungle Nugs should be on your short list. Head on over to Altitude Organic Medicine (Platte) and pick some up today!
