CLEVELAND — Cannasure Insurance Services (Cannasure), the premier cannabis insurance MGA and wholesale broker, announced today the hiring of Kieran O’Rourke to lead its MGA underwriting platform.
“After an exhaustive search to find the right person for the job, we are pleased to welcome Kieran to the Cannasure team,” said Cannasure CEO Patrick McManamon. “With more than 20 years of underwriting and senior management experience in P&C, he is a talented and respected leader in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Cannasure, O’Rourke was Assistant Vice President of Property Underwriting at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc (AFSI). His career experience spans P&C underwriting, MGA underwriting for alternative energy products, alternative market product development, oversight of research and product development, and directing regional commercial insurance sales for Cincinnati Insurance. At Cannasure, O’Rourke will manage the company’s MGA division as Director of Underwriting.
