Cannabis Infused Buckeyes – Chocolate and Peanut Butter with a kick!

Cannabis Infused Buckeyes – Chocolate and Peanut Butter with a kick!

Here’s a classic peanut butter and chocolate candy recipe upgraded with a cannabis infused twist! These chocolate covered peanut butter balls are made with cannabutter making them one of the most delicious ways to medicate! If you want a stronger version of these treats, try adding cannabis oil or cannabis distillate to the peanut butter mixture before blending.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup cannabutter, melted

Coating

  • 4 cups (24 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (infused or not)

Directions

  1. Using an electric mixer (or by hand) slowly combine the peanut butter, sugar and melted cannabutter until smooth and thoroughly mixed.
  2. Roll into 1-inch balls and set aside
  3. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together on low heat, stirring well until melted.
  4. Using a toothpick, stab each ball and dunk ¾ of the way into the chocolate, leaving a bare spot on top. Set on wax paper to cool.
  5. Once you have dunked all the balls, place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Enjoy!

Makes about 6 dozen 1” balls

Can I make these with canna-coconut oil instead of cannabutter? I am sensitive to dairy so I only use coconut oil not butter. I have dairy free chocolate chips for the coating and Im going to make this as soon as u let me know! Thx 🙂

I made these and like everything else I made with cannabutter it has too strong a taste. Is there a way to hide the grass flavor when you make edibles? My butter is always dark green and kinda stinky and that smell and taste turns me off. I was hoping peanut butter would hide it better but it dont. Do i need to try a new butter recipe? Does coconut oil make a difference? Help! I really want to make my own edibles but they so far all taste bad as the butter does. A useful answer will make me… Read more »
